Chestiny Fair is a dedicated Professor of Exercise Physiology, holding a degree from Arizona State University with an emphasis on Nutrition, Health, and Wellness. She also earned a Master's in Kinesiology from A.T. Still University. With over 12 years of experience in the fitness and health industry, Chestiny has made significant contributions through various roles.


Her professional journey includes personal coaching in fitness, working with youth sports teams, and collaborating with corporate wellness companies. Additionally, she has applied her expertise in a hospital setting, helping patients in the Nutrition department managing chronic diseases.


For the past nine years, Chestiny has been shaping the minds of future health professionals as a Professor in the Exercise Science department. She specializes in Human Movement and chronic diseases, bringing valuable insights and real-world experience to her students.


Beyond her professional achievements, Chestiny is passionate about mentoring individuals aspiring to enter the field of Health and Longevity. She believes that health is a fundamental right and advocates for preventive care to be accessible to all. Her commitment to promoting health and wellness continues to inspire those around her.

Dr. Selen Nedret Courtney, PT, RYT

Physical Therapist

Dr. Selen Nedret Courtney is a Physical Therapist with a board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California in 2013 and later completed her MBA with a Certificate in the Science of Health Care Delivery from Arizona State University in 2020. 



Dr. Courtney has experience in various settings, including outpatient orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, acute rehabilitation, and acute care. She has presented on various topics including vestibular rehabilitation, osteoporosis, migraine management, and meditation. 



Throughout her career, Dr. Courtney has weaved her passion for overall wellness along with personal accountability by providing a holistic approach to physical therapy, considering all contributing factors to pain and physical ailments and coaching her patients to reach their personal goals. 



Her patient-centered approach focuses on understanding what matters most to each individual, ensuring that treatment plans align with their personal goals and values while maintaining a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation and healing.

I am an energetic and purpose-driven leader passionate about helping people become healthier and giving them an experience of what healthcare truly should be. At HealthspanMD, I have lead our coaching department, creating systems, training programs, and experiences that empower both patients and providers to achieve life-changing outcomes through evidence-based lifestyle transformation and have now transitioned onto more of a patient retention focus.    

My background includes a B.S. in Pre-Medicine and Exercise Science, along with a certification as a personal trainer. While my journey began in hands-on health coaching, my focus has evolved toward designing scalable systems that will bring the same personalized, compassionate care to patients across the country, as well as making health coaching more accessible to people all over through their insurance. I’m deeply fulfilled by the connections we build, and by seeing patients do things in life they never thought could be possible again.
